Igor Simic
CEO and creative director Demagog Studio, Belgrade

When an idea for a character, a story or a world comes before an idea for a game mechanic, there is usually a broader media space to explore beyond a single video game. That was Demagog Studio’s approach with “Golf Club: Wasteland”, its original soundtrack “Radio Nostalgia from Mars” and the three accompanying animated videos. Borders between digital media are blurred and with today’s tools there are plenty of ways to experiment with games, animations, music, memes, etc. in one intellectual property. The team has to make a creative and a business decision. This talk will give a digest of Demagog Studio’s path from working on a part-time transmedia project to becoming a an actual company.
