Elisabeth Bakambamba Tambwe asserts that the museum can no longer be seen as a place where the truth is presented according to a single field of knowledge. Rather, it must speak to different ways of seeing, and observing. In conversation with curator Marina Grzinić, Bakambamba discusses her artwork „The Eye” (2020), relating to one display case in the collection “Sammlerwahn”: A giant eye monitors this display case, scrutinizing both the severed heads, and also those viewing them.
