On the Fly is a Bucharest based jazz group founded on friendship, shared
musical ideas and an intense desire to explore together. The five
musicians had already been together in a few musical contexts until
august 2018, but a summer camp was the factor that really made them
decide to form a stable group. In parallel with playing jazz standards,
they also bring their own compositions that reflect the different
influences and interests that each of the members comes with. They can
be seen playing in different jazz venues in Romania.

Barakah
Die Faszination an freier Improvisation, rhythmischer Vielfältigkeit und
Erkundung neuer klanglicher Welten steht in der Konzeption der Band
„Barakah“ im Mittelpunkt. Musikalisch bewegt sich die Band im Bereich
der Fusion-Musik und verbindet Elemente und Rhythmen aus ethnischen
Musiken, Jazz-Musik, World Music aber auch aus Rock und Metal. Diese
einzigartige Kombination resultiert in einer kraftvollen,
energiegeladenen Musik mit pulsierenden Rhythmen und jungem Spirit.
