Geburtstag x Schalttag: Der Schallplattensalon wird 1

Vor einem Jahr haben wir – eine Handvoll Freunde – beschlossen, uns regelmäßig zum Platten hören zu treffen und uns einander unsere neuesten Schätze aus schwarzem Gold zu präsentieren – von Ostblock-Beat bis Deep House, von Hip-Hop bis Habibi Funk.

Aus diesen Treffen hat sich schließlich ein kleines, aber feines DJ-Kollektiv entwickelt, das sich zu 100 Prozent auf Vinyl konzentriert und genreübergreifend auflegt: Der Schallplattensalon.

Der Salon hat bald sein geschütztes Nest verlassen, um zu einem erfolgreichen und regelmäßigen Clubabend zu werden. Am Schalttag feiert er Geburtstag – quasi SchalTplattensalon.

Schalttag ist nur alle vier Jahre, Geburtstag ist nur einmal im Jahr und Samstag nur einmal die Woche. Was bleibt uns also übrig, als zu feiern, zu tanzen und euch die schönsten schwarzen Perlen aus unserer Sammlung zu präsentieren?

A year ago a handful of friends decided to meet regularly to listen to records and present their latest treasures of black gold to each other, no matter the genre – from Eastern Block Beat Music to Deep House, from Hip Hop to Habibi Funk.

From these meetings a small but fine DJ collective has finally developed, which is 100% focused on vinyl and plays cross genre: The "Schallplattensalon".

The guys from the "Salon" soon left their sheltered nest to develop a successful and regular club night. On leap day we celebrate Schallplattensalon's first birthday.

Leap Day is only once every four years, birthday is only once a year and Saturday only once a week. So what else can we do but celebrate, dance, and present you the most beautiful black pearls from our collection?
